Hello to all my loyal fans!
This post was to inform you all that the Generation Pagan Podcast that you all love so much has now become the Generation Pagan Blog. Now, I’m sure after you’ve picked your jaw up off the floor and put your eyeballs back in your head, the first coherent sentence out of your mouth is probably, “But…but…why??” Well, I have a few reasons for doing so.
1) Blogging is a lot more convenient for me, time-wise, than creating a 30 minute or so podcast. Creating a podcast takes a lot of energy and manpower that I am currently not capable of, considering that I’m pulling yucky 12 hour or more days.
2) Blogging allows me to post more frequently, since I don’t have to spend hours scripting, recording, and editing. I can blog whenever the mood strikes me, instead of having to be on a tight schedule. I can also post short things that may catch interest, instead of having to amass a lot of information all in one go.
3) Blogging allows more writer/reader interaction, which is what I wanted in the first place. You all know how much I love listener feedback and getting information from my listeners. Leaving comments on a blog is a lot more interactive (at least, in my opinion) than sending me emails to read on the air.
I know this is probably not what some of you would like, but it’s been getting harder and harder for me to find the hours needed to write out, record, and edit each podcast. Blogging, however, is so much simpler. I can do it anywhere, whereas for podcasting I’d have to be somewhere quiet and with minimal distraction. Not an easy thing when you are a college student with a roommate.
I didn’t want to just stop getting my message out to everyone, but I know when I’ve bit off more than I can chew. This seems like the appropriate compromise to me. Love it, hate it, it’s up to you all if you want to continue with me on this crazy journey, but the way I see it, it’s either you read my blog or you get nothing from me.
There are tons of other awesome Pagan Podcasts out there if that’s really what you need. For those of you who plan on sticking around and listening to more of my craziness, glad to have you on board
You can reach the new blog at generationpagan.blogspot.com. If you’ve decided to switch over and start reading instead of listening, leave me a comment to let me know you’re still going strong!!
Love and Peace to All Ya’ll, Alex

Okay, I know it’s been FOREVER since I’ve uploaded a new episode, and that’s totally my fault. Things have just kinda gotten out of control lately, being that fabled SENIOR YEAR and all. I had a lot of auditions for the mainstage performances here, and I was selected to be in the cast of Charlotte’s Web (yay!), so that has begun to take up most of my evenings, not to mention all the other crazy stuff this school’s got me doing in the name of education
. I’ve also been having trouble with the site, for some reason it takes forever lately for me to even log on. Just typing this message has taken about 15 minutes of loading time on the part of the server, which is really annoying. I just wanted to let you guys know that I am not dead, and that I am trying to get out the next episode as soon as my schedule (and this darn server) allows. I will be taking the advice from several of you and attempting to put out a podcast every two weeks instead of every week, but again, that will all happen when I’m actually able to post the next episode.
Thank you all so much for your support; it really means a lot to me
Alex

Hi all, just letting you know that I will be posting episode 6 at the end of this week. I held off for a week because I was hoping that more people would send in stereotypes or anything else you’ve heard people say about Pagans. I haven’t really gotten a lot of feedback, to be honest, but I’m going to go ahead and do the podcast anyway! If you guys want to submit anything regarding the topic of Pagan Stereotypes, you can email me, leave a comment here, or leave a comment on the Facebook Page!
Thanks! Alex

Hi everyone, I know that I usually post an episode around this time on Thursdays, but due to illness episode 4 won’t be posted until tomorrow. Don’t worry or fret, I assure you that I’m not going away, it’s just that I really needed today to sleep and rest so I can get better. Thank you for all the mail and comments I’ve been getting, and I will be reading them and giving you feedback on tomorrow’s episode.
